First United Methodist Church of Carlsbad's vision is Living the Hope of Jesus in Our World. Jesus is the hope for his world. His life, death, and resurrection makes a restored relationship with God possible for humanity. The ongoing presence and gifting of the Holy Spirit gives us the power to fulfill the Great Commission and love each other as we are loved by Jesus. We are a church grounded in grace, Scriptural truth, passionate worship (both modern and traditional), active local community outreach, and world mission.
